Before you start

Three Things Every IPTV Setup Needs

The steps change from device to device. These three pieces never do.

1

Your login details

An M3U link, or an Xtream Codes login (server URL, username and password). This is what connects an app to the channels. Don't have one yet? You can get a free 24-hour test line in a minute.

2

A player app

The app that reads your login and turns it into a channel list with a TV guide. Which one you use depends on your device, and each guide recommends the best fit.

3

A steady connection

Consistency matters more than raw speed. A cable to your router, or Wi-Fi on the 5 GHz band near the router, beats a fast but patchy signal in a far room.

IPTV Service vs IPTV App: The Difference That Confuses Everyone

The most common question we get from new customers is some version of "I installed the app, so where are the channels?" The answer is that the app and the service are two separate things.

Think of the player app as a TV set and the service as the signal. Apps like TiviMate, IPTV Smarters or IBO Player come empty. They don't include a single channel. The channels arrive only after you enter the login details from your IPTV provider, such as your New IPTV subscription.

This is also why one app can work with any provider, and why an app's own subscription or activation fee is separate from what you pay for your IPTV service. If you're ever asked to pay inside a player app, you're paying the people who built the app, which is separate from your IPTV subscription.

Avoid these

Six Setup Mistakes That Cause Most Problems

These apply to every device, and they account for the majority of "it's not working" messages we receive.

Installing apps from random websites

Modified copies of popular players are common and can carry malware. Stick to official app stores or the developer's own site.

Leaving out "http://" or the port

If your server URL ends in something like :8080, that number is part of the address. Enter it exactly as you received it.

Wrong date and time on the device

A clock that's out by hours or days can make secure logins fail. Set the device to update the time automatically.

Running out of storage

Firesticks and older boxes slow down and crash when storage is nearly full. Clear the cache of unused apps before you start.

A VPN on a far-away server

If you use a VPN, connect to a location close to you. A distant server adds delay and can cause stutter on live channels.

Logging in on too many screens

Each plan allows a set number of connections. Opening your login on an extra device can kick the others off.

FAQ

IPTV Setup Questions

How long does it take to set up IPTV?

On a Firestick or Android TV, usually five to ten minutes the first time. Smart TV apps that use MAC activation can take a little longer because part of the setup happens on the app's website.

Do I need any technical knowledge?

No. If you can install an app and copy and paste text, you can follow any of these guides. Our support team can also guide you over WhatsApp, step by step.

Can I use the same login on more than one device?

You can install it on as many devices as you like, but the number that can stream at the same moment depends on your plan.

Do I have to set everything up again after I subscribe?

No. If you set up a test line first, we upgrade that same line when you subscribe, so your app keeps working exactly as before.

What if my device isn't listed here?

Nearly every screen works with one of these seven guides, as the table above shows. If yours still doesn't fit, contact us and we'll help you get it running.
